Join me in painting a winter sunset sky painting. In this oil painting lesson I will take you through creating this brilliant shining sun, poking through cool winter clouds drifting through the sky. Learn how to layer your oil paints and use blending steps to smooth out edges to make your clouds look realistic. Learn how to create a hazy shine around the sun to make it look like its actually emitting light from the painting. You’ll love this technique, where we use contrast to make the sun look brilliant.
Come join the fun with me in this 2 hour painting lesson. You’ll pick up a ton of techniques that you will use in future paintings.
